Please follow the following steps in order to locate and check into the Hidden Castle.
Step 1: Look the Grandfather Mountain Nursery on Hwy 105..
You’ll arrive in on Hwy 105. Please look for the Grandfather Mountain Nursery. Turn and head up the driveway that is immediately up hill from the nursery.
Please look closely during foggy conditions or at night as it can, at times, be difficult to see.
Step 2: Stay Right.
After turning off of 105, head up hill. After driving up hill for about ¼ of a mile, keep right at the fork in the road.
Step 3: Continue uphill toward the house.
Continue around the house in front of the decks and patios. You will drive all the way around the house.
Step 4: Keep straight toward the barn.
Once you’ve driven around the house, you’ll find a round-about. Drive straight past the first left and then turn left immediately before you get to the barn.
Step 5: Continue straight past the circle to the right of the barn.
After you drive around the house, you’ll come to a stone wall with a drive way on the left. Continue straight when you arrive at the stone wall.
Step 6: Keep to the right of the barn.
Once you arrive at the barn, continue driving straight on the asphalt between the barn and the gatehouse..
Step 7: Keep straight past the barn.
Continue straight down the asphalt drive until you arrive at the parking area that is located to the right. Located at the end of the arrow’s tip.
Step 8: Park in the space by the electric meter.
Feel free to park anywhere in this space located in front of the Electric meter.
Step 9: Enjoy a brief walk to the Hidden Castle.
Once you’ve parked, walk back toward the castle along the asphalt drive.
Step 10: Turn right after the barn.
Once you’ve arrived at the end of the barn, turn right and walk around the stone round-a-bout.
Step 11: Walk down the stairs toward the deck.
Once you arrive at the garage door, step onto the deck and proceed to walk down the stairs to the large deck below.
Step 12: Pause, enjoy view.
Stop to enjoy the view from this spot for a moment. Then proceed to walk down the stairs toward the entrance to Castle Keep.
Step 13: Walk past the Swinging Egg Chairs toward your entrance.
Proceed down the stairs, past the swinging egg chairs toward the door directly ahead.
Step 14: This is the entrance to the Keep.
This is the door to Castle Keep.
Step 15: This is the entrance to the Keep.
