Wicker Branch welcomes you to forty acres of serene and unique country setting over two stays and a venue for your gatherings. The main house is a 4 bedroom 4 bathroom house that sleeps 14 while the Barn Suite sleeps 5.

Curated furnishings include two King suites in the main house, bunk rooms, & lush couches. Find our dock lined with string lights, swinging egg chairs, your personal hammock and huge fire pit to take in the view and cool evening breeze.

The space

Wicker Branch is a 40 acre farm in Monroe, North Carolina. Conveniently located right off of Hwy 601 (Pageland Hwy) and just nine miles to Main Street in Monroe. You can enjoy a cozy fire on the farm, lounge on the “over the water” gazebo and walk the quaint historic downtown of Monroe all in one afternoon. Being only eight miles from Wingate University and just nine miles to Pageland, SC, the location is hard to beat for the Monroe Area. Enjoy the laid back country life and the urban convenience of Monroe in one stay. 

The barn consists of this single 1,000 square foot, 2 Bedroom, 1 Bathroom flat and is the entire top floor of the barn. This is the only living space in the barn and the lower floor is empty and only used for storage. The space has been opened and recently remodeled and furnished with you, our guest, in mind. The primary bedroom has a King Bed, 55” television, walk in closet with shelving and brings in the evening sunset better than you might imagine. 

The second bedroom includes a bunk bed with a twin bed on top and a queen bed on the bottom. You’ll find plenty of storage in the walk in closet, with lighting and shelving. Our bunk room also includes a 55” television to stream your favorites. 

Enjoy comfortable furnishings in the living area with everything from huge pillows for movie nights with the kids, to the most plush rug you can run your hands through. Our living area also boasts an eight foot bar top with plenty of outlets to plug in your gadgets, laptops or tablets. No matter what you’re plugging in, you’ll have plenty of room to work, play or just sip your coffee. 

In the evenings, you’ll sit on the front porch with the fire pit going while you take in the sunset and hear the final call from our neighboring cows. 

Whether you’re in town visiting family, attending a wedding, graduation or just checking out the area we’d love to host you at Wicker Branch.

Guest access

You’ll enjoy unrestricted access to the 40 acres, pond, gazebo, barn suite and Main House. You’re booking the entire farm.

Other things to note

While Wicker Branch is no longer the working farm that it once was, there are remnants of that in different areas around farm. During your visit, you’ll see old barns, fields, fences and likely wildlife. In addition to barns, you’ll also see fields, woods, fences and other features that require maintaining. So you may see myself or other workers during your stay but you won’t hear us. 

Wicker Branch is conveniently located on Hwy 601 and a quick trip to just about everything in the area. Depending on the time of year, guests may experience some road noise during the stay.
