The Nook and Nest (“we”, “us”) operates thenookandnest.com and the short-term rental properties listed on it. This policy explains what we collect when you visit the site, why, and what choices you have.

When you browse the site, we and the services below receive standard technical information: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, how you arrived, and time spent.

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers listed above, so they can do the job we use them for, and where we are required to by law.
Reservation records are kept as long as needed for tax, accounting and legal purposes. Analytics data is retained on the schedule set in each platform. Email list entries are kept until you unsubscribe.
You can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, by emailing hello@thenookandnest.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act or the GDPR; we will honour valid requests either way.
The site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
