Terms of Use

Last updated September 6, 2026

These terms apply to your use of thenookandnest.com. By using the site, you agree to them.

About the site

The Nook and Nest markets and takes direct bookings for a collection of short-term rental properties in North Carolina. We aim to keep descriptions, photographs, availability and rates accurate, but the site is provided for information and we cannot guarantee it is free of errors or always current.

Bookings

Reservations are made through the booking widget provided by Hospitable, our booking platform. When you book:

Cancellations and changes

The cancellation policy shown during booking governs your reservation. If you need to change or cancel, contact us at hello@thenookandnest.com as early as you can.

Guest conduct

Guests are responsible for their party and for leaving the property in good order. Occupancy limits, quiet hours, pet and smoking rules, and event restrictions are set out in each property’s house rules. Breaching them may end a stay without refund.

The chat assistant

The site offers an AI chat assistant to help answer questions. Its answers are generated automatically and may be incomplete or wrong. Nothing it says forms part of a booking agreement — confirm anything that matters with us directly.

Our content

The text, photographs, and design on this site belong to The Nook and Nest or are used with permission. Please do not reproduce them commercially without asking. Third-party names and logos belong to their owners.

Links to other sites

We link to services we use, such as our booking provider and our social accounts. We are not responsible for their content or practices.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The site is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent the law allows. To the extent permitted by law, our liability arising from your use of the site is limited to the amount you paid for the booking in question. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, and the courts of North Carolina have jurisdiction over any dispute.

Changes

We may update these terms; the date at the top shows when they last changed.
