An artist's studio.
Now your escape.

This building spent years as a studio for a well-known High Country artist before we turned it into something new. The bones are still there — tongue and groove spruce ceilings and walls that feel warm the moment you walk in. We added a king bed, a full bathroom with a tiled shower, and a kitchenette with everything you need to stay awhile without going anywhere.

The views are the same 100 miles you'll find everywhere on this property — out the bedroom window, from the nook by the window overlooking Blackberry Gorge, and from the 700 square foot deck you share with the Grand Cabin. Egg chairs, a gas fire pit, Adirondack chairs. In the evening, there's nowhere else you'll want to be.

It's 2.5 miles from Main Street in Blowing Rock. Five minutes to coffee, dinner, and galleries. But once you settle into the nook with a cup of something warm, you might not make it off the property at all. That's fine too.

Small on purpose.
Nothing is missing.

King Bed

A luxurious king bed with quality linens. Plus a sleeper sofa in the living area if you need it.

Kitchenette

Well equipped for breakfasts and simple meals. Coffee, of course. Everything you need, nothing you don't.

Spruce Walls

Tongue and groove spruce ceilings and walls throughout. The kind of warmth you can't fake.

The Nook

A window seat overlooking Blackberry Gorge. Best with a book, a blanket, and zero plans.

700 Sq Ft Deck

Shared with the Grand Cabin. Egg chairs, fire pit, Adirondack chairs, and the views. The views.
